Question by Jake: Jobs that would look good on resume when applying for an accounting job?
I am working on my bachelors degree in accounting, and I was wondering if there are any jobs I could take as a college student that would look good when applying for an accounting job when I finish my degree? Since I’m an undergraduate, I know there probably aren’t very many, if any. I just thought I would ask!

Anything numbers related will look good. Try part-time at a bank or in bookkeeping. Also, try accounting temp agencies like Accountemps or Robert Half. You may not be a CPA (yet) but there’s always accounting work needed. Any office work is also a plus, because it shows you’ve had experience in an office environment. Good luck!

Doing clerical job from home is often one of the easiest things to do and sometimes you do not even have to worry about changing jobs in order to do it.

If you have to change jobs, you can still find lots of clerical jobs. There are many companies that will hire online secretaries and these secretaries can really make a difference with all of the things that they are doing. You should be able to get all of the work that you want, doing your clerical work from home.

When you are doing clerical work from home you will know that you are taking control over your own future and making sure that you are able to do all of your work. This will give you the time that you need with your family and the time that you need to truly get things right in your life. Just be sure that you have all of the supplies you need to do clerical work and that you are working for a company that will value you and keep you working hard.

If you have skills like web design and development, you can work from home and make good money. But the “work from home” schemes you see advertised on the Internet, and that people tout on forums such as these, are scams.
